Yes, we take deposit payments. A deposit must be paid on all orders.

Yes, we ask can you please remove all furniture from the room being fitted.

Yes you can put vinyl on top of tiles. However, over time the vinyl will fall to the shape of the tiled floor.

Yes, some laminate floors are suitable for kitchens or bathrooms. We would recommend our range of water resistant laminate flooring.

Yes underlay is necessary for laminate flooring. It is not necessarily required for some carpets, however we always recommend underlay to increase the lifetime of your carpet and give extra comfort under the foot.

Carpet lifetime varies depending on the quality of the carpet purchased. A high quality twist pile carpet can last up to 10 years when cared for correctly.

Yes we recycle all of our old mattresses. The company we do this through is called Eco mattress. Please see our video where we take you through this process.

To measure a room, you will need to measure the longest points of the room and widest points of the room. You can measure this in any unit of measurement you prefer.

For stairs and landings, you will again need to measure the longest points and widest points of your landing. For the stairs, you will need to count how many steps are on the staircase and measure the width of one of the steps.
Be sure to take note of any turns on your staircase.

To reschedule your fitting or delivery date, simply call the store you were dealing with and please give us as much notice as possible.

Most of our furniture does come flat packed, However some items do come assembled. For more information on a particular product please call (01) 562 0007

Rule 1: Never use boiling, hot or warm soapy water or steamers.

Rule 2: Follow the manufactures’ recommendations.

Rule 3: Use an industry recommended floor cleaning solution, such as quickstep clean, or Trojan Magi-Clean.

Steps:

  1. Vacuum or sweep the floor.
  2. Spray a fine mist of solution over an area about 8 feet wide and 3 feet deep. (Area 1)
  3. Wait two or 3 minutes.
  4. Spray the next section. (Area 2)
  5. Go back and mop up the solution from the first area. (area 1).
  6. Spray the next section. (Area 3)
  7. Go back and mop Area 2, and so forth.
  8. Do not use hot water, sponge mops, string type wet mops or steamers.

AC Rating is the grade on how resistant a floor is to abrasion, impact, stains and scratches. 1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest rating. All of our floors are rated from AC3 to AC5.

No laminate flooring is 100% waterproof. However, some of our laminates are extremely resistant to moisture and spillages.

Your mattress does get heavier with age. But not for pleasant reasons. On average, your mattress will double in weight after 10 years due to the following:

Your mattress being filled with dead dust mites and their detritus.
In one night’s sleep, you will shed an average of 12,000,000 dead skin cells, which is why dust mites thrive in your bed.
After 14 years, your mattress now has more dust mites than the population of New York City, four full bathtubs of sweat and 19 KG of dead skin.

Yes we do fit outside Dublin. The areas we offer our fitting services are Dublin, Meath and Kildare.

A wool carpet can be great for your stairs as it is very hard wearing, however they are not particularly stain resistant.

We have many synthetic carpets available that are bleach cleanable.

Yes we have underlays available for carpets and wooden floors which are compatible with underfloor heating.

A good quality carpet underlay can increase the lifespan of your carpet by up to 50% as well as providing you with much more comfort under the foot.

Similarly a good quality wooden   floor underlay can extend the life span of your floor. As well as providing you with heat insulation and acoustic properties.

Yes a firmer mattress can be more kind to those of us who suffer from backpain. As they offer more support.

A softer mattress is more suited to those who sleep on their sides.

A mattress protector can prevent your mattress from getting  heavier with age. But not for pleasant reasons. On average, your mattress will double in weight after 10 years due to the following:

No, many of our premium quality mattresses’ now come rolled up.

These mattresses’ are simply compressed after manufacturing for logistical purposes.

No the higher the spring count in a mattress will simply determine the softness of the mattress.

 

It is crucial to have a level subfloor when laying laminate flooring because if there are uneven areas in the subfloor it can cause the joints between the planks to stress and weaken.

12mm floor would be better in areas that have heavy furniture that might be moved around or in areas of the home that experience high footfall.

This is because a 12mm floor would be much more impact resistant than 8mm.

No any of our carpet ranges can be fitted as a runner on your staircase.

Not all carpets can be cleaned with bleach, however we offer a very extensive range of bleach cleanable carpets.
